Completely Crackers (design only)
Completely Crackers sell hand-made party crackers for all occasions. Only got as a far as a design with this website as the client withdrew. A simplistic 'image-free' website is currently live on their page which I made.
Steinband
Steinband are the original NZ oompah band! Lufthansa's choice for beerfest parties this band knows how to make Octoberfest gigs go off.
They had an idea for the look they wanted and with the colour scheme they already had in place the Steinband website was born. It features a simple templating system that I had used previously on the HBHS Argentina Trip website.
You'll notice the sound has a looping track on the website which is being played through a Flash player that I custom made.
WSSFA
The home of football/soccer for the Waikato Secondary Schools competition. Waikato Secondary Schools Football Association's website features everything players, parents and coaches need.
The association wanted a way to be able to post match draws and results and other files on their website in a simple, intuitive user-interface. They didn't want to have to stuff around with HTML, and FTP and didn't want to have to send stuff to someone for them to post it for them.
The website features a custom built Content Management System (CMS) which allows for files to be uploaded using a special administration area as well as all page content to be edited also. Files can be managed (moved and deleted) there also.
Melville United (Design Only)
Just a simple design for a pre-existing Content Management System (CMS). Templating system was relatively basic and restricted anything too 'out-there'.
HBHS Argentina Trip
HBHS is sending its Spanish classes to Argentina for 3 weeks around September/October 2007. They needed an easy way to communicate, see news and know when things were happening, so the best way for that to happen was a website.
Features a templating system and soon a custom Content Management System (CMS) as well as news bulletin. Installed and operational is phpBB custom skinned to match the design of the rest of the website. Uses features such as Google Calendar for easy integration and usability.
SteelServer
My personal website hosted at home on my self-installed Windows server. The design is nearly a year or two old and is due for an update, and the purpose the actual sites serves is practically non-existant, but I basically use the server mainly for development and being able to access my files from where-ever I am that has an internet connection.
André's Flash
My friend André got very interested in Flash animations and hence wanted a website to plonk his stuff. I developed a very simple (originally quick-fix) layout and some small code to dynamically list his animations and hey presto. A site was built in less than a week.
The site also features my only live version of AshForum. As the name hints it's a PHP and MySQL driven forum software. Still in its early stages and lacking the time commitment from me, its relatively unfinished but handles common forum tasks without hassle.
